What you need to know
A well-established law firm based in
Carlow
is seeking an experienced
Legal Secretary
on a
temporary basis
to join their busy and growing team.
This is a
monthly
contract initially with a strong possibility of an extension into something more long term.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday,
9:00am–5:30pm
, fully onsite.
Your new job
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide secretarial and administrative support to solicitors.
Handle audio typing of correspondence, legal documents, and briefs (70+ wpm).
Prepare and file legal documentation and maintain accurate client records.
Liaise with clients, solicitors, and external parties professionally.
Maintain and update case files using a case management system (Evolve experience an advantage).
Assist with diary management, e-filing, and general office administration.
What are we looking for?
Minimum
3–5 years' experience
as a Legal Secretary in a busy general practice.
Strong knowledge of
conveyancing and probate
processes.
Excellent
audio typing
skills (70+ wpm).
Experience using a
case management system
; Evolve desirable.
Strong organisational and communication skills with great attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
