Release Train Engineer (RTE) Initial 12 Month Daily Rate Contract, Great Rate Available, Flexible Working Available The Opportunity My client, a leading organisation is undergoing a major Agile transformation, and I'm looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join their Agile Delivery function on a 12-month rolling contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a large-scale Agile Release Train, driving cross-team collaboration, continuous delivery, and value flow.
The role offers a flexible working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, ART syncs, and system demos Drive the flow of value using Agile tools and frameworks (SAFe, Kanban, etc.) Work with Product Management, Scrum Masters, and Engineering to manage risks and dependencies Champion Agile best practices and ensure alignment across teams Lead Inspect & Adapt workshops and continuous improvement initiatives Act as a servant leader and coach across the Agile Release Train Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer in complex, enterprise-level environments Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) - SAFe RTE certification is highly desirable Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills Experience using Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, or equivalent) Ability to work independently and influence without authority Additional Information Immediate interviews with prompt start date available.
