Overview of Role
Our client based in CoLouth/ Meath/ North Dublin is seeking a Senior Management Accountant, reporting to the Financial Controller on a full‑time permanent basis. Hybrid working is available.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and the compilation of monthly reports for senior management team and group.
* Provide high quality financial analysis, variance analysis, reporting, and insights to support informed decision‑making.
* Balance sheet management
* Liaise with internal and external auditors.
* Projects and investment appraisals
* Risk Management including the development of controls and internal procedures
* Take full responsibility for the direct taxation including working with third party consultants
* Prepare and manage budgets, including cost analysis and recommendations.
* Work with all departments and the SMT to develop accurate commercial price books and offer strategic insight.
* Focus on continuous improvements in all processes and outputs to add value and drive business results
Other
* Based on your current job role, or any role assigned to you by your manager, you will have access to the Company and the customer data that is relevant for the completion of your role. You must comply with all Security & IT Policies in relation to the protection of the company and customer data.
* You will be required to be flexible in this role and must be prepared to perform other tasks and undertake additional duties in any area of the business as determined by Management. These tasks may be outside your normal work area
* You will comply with the requirement of the Company Quality Management System and our various Internal Risk Management programmes and External certifications.
Your Profile: Technical Competencies
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 3+ years post qualification experience.
* Relevant experience working within a high‑tech supply chain management environment
* Advanced MS excel skills and office suite, SAP ERP System, BI
* Lean Six Sigma experience is desirable
Behavioural Competencies
* Strong attention to detail, analytical and influencing skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
