About the Role
This position entails providing technical assistance to engineers in setup and calibration tasks. The incumbent will also be responsible for conducting rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing delivery systems for client companies
* Assembling, testing, and packaging complex mechanical devices based on written and verbal instructions
* Collaborating with engineers to design and develop assembly methods
* Maintaining accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers
* Training assemblers, technicians, and engineers in assembly methods
* Maintaining accurate inventory records
* Assisting with in-process testing to ensure products meet specifications
Requirements:
* A technical diploma is advantageous
* One year of experience in the medical device industry is required
* Balloon catheter development or manufacturing experience is desirable
