Financial Services Audit Manager - Insurance
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Audit Manager with expertise in Financial Services, specifically Insurance. As a key member of our team, you will oversee client portfolios and manage teams of auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of financial services (insurance) client portfolio and reporting requirements.
* Management of a team of auditors.
* Supervision of financial reporting and statutory filing and compliance assurance engagements of clients.
* Leadership of multiple concurrent engagements with professional staff and direction of the preparation and completion of reports, accounts, and financial statements.
* Ensuring assignments are run within time and resource requirements.
* Mentorship of assistants and audit seniors by counselling and assisting them in the management of all aspects of their work lives and in obtaining their career objectives.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified ICAI, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
- Currently, or recently, at Audit Manager level in an accountancy firm.
- Essential experience of managing direct reports and auditing in the financial services sector, preferably with insurance exposure.
