About This Role
As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our new supermarket. You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards across all departments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Store Manager in managing day-to-day operations, including cash management, shift planning, and problem-solving.
* Lead the store team to achieve sales, margin, and performance targets across all departments.
* Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
* Maintain high standards in merchandising, cleanliness, stock control, and health & safety.
* Handle cash handling and manage store assets efficiently.
* Deliver strong communication and foster a positive team environment.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a supermarket or retail management role is essential.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required.
* A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop a team is crucial.
* Commercial awareness with a focus on delivering KPIs and customer satisfaction is necessary.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, during the store setup and launch phase is required.
