BEFORE YOU APPLY:Please read the compensation information at the bottom of the pageOVERVIEWWe are looking for two fully remote marketing campaign managers for our fantasy universe's next two launches: One comic book and one 30 min live-action movie - both with TTRPG game tie-in. You'd be running a multidisciplinary team from email, web, data, and collaborating with our in-house video, design, community, outreach, and merch teams.ABOUT THE COMPANYWe are creating films, games, and comics for our own fantasy universe (think Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc., but smaller - for now hehe). We started 4+ years ago as a small team of folks who were initially supposed to package a TV show. Finding ourselves unwilling to sign away our IP, we decided to build out the universe ourselves to retain (creative) control. Now our rag-tag band of pirates has grown to over 150 members (far over 200 depending on how you count). Our current slate includes 3 short films (2 in active development, 1 in post production, 30min each), a comic book series (9 issues of Season 1, 45 pages/issue), and two games (one Card Game online and offline version featuring our characters and factions, and one TTRPG with one shots, campaign rules, and region expansions). We also produce music, art, and have our own in-house media marketing element and ops.We have been working on getting greenlight, production up, worldbuilding ready, and marketing infrastructure set up. This year we finally get to launch two of our bigger story installments: Our first comic and our first film alongside some TTRPG one shots & free rules and a worldbuilding music album.RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstand the one product you'll be responsible for launching in good detail by talking to the producers, directors, and lead creatives responsible for the creationResearch the specifics of genre, industry, and target audience for the specific launchLead the development of the rollout strategy throughout the entire release cycleWork with all team members and leads to assign tasks and plot them out over the timeline of the launchWork with data to set up all necessary trackingHire any missing team leads and assist the team leads in case they need support hiring for their teamsRun the campaign week-by-week with an eye on the progress of all assets and the current performance of already public initiativesHelp steer the ship into a pivot where necessaryStore knowledge gained throughout the campaign in SOP Documentation and Campaign Post-mortemPROFILEYou have a good knowledge of media production (video production from development to delivery, image material for various use cases, copy)You know how to keep multidisciplinary teams on trackA willingness to learn to learn quickly about the tech stack in use across web, data, and mailA great team player: Candid but never demotivating, brings clarity, stays calm even if the barn is burning down ("Could you do me a favor and hand Satwik that bucket with water, please?")Excellent communication: People know what you want, by when, how it should be delivered, and whom to ask if they have questions about anythingYou drive yourself: Once a plan is agreed upon, you make it happen. The target will be low to ensure that we hit it and successfully complete and ship. The production is ongoing and is scheduled to be completed shortly before the campaign begins. A free copy will be available digitally after the crowdfunding pledge rewards have been shipped.LEILANI This is a 25min + 5 min credits runtime live-action coming-of-age high-fantasy drama shortfilm starring Andrea Guo (Maxton Hall) and Adrian Topol (Fortitude). Post production is scheduled to be completed with DCP master 3 weeks before the 3 premieres in Cologne, Dublin, Lisbon, and four weeks before the corresponding crowdfunding campaign, which aims to (partially) fund the budget for the next film: Hope.We would love to retain you after this campaign for our future comic, film, music, and game launches.COMPENSATION DETAILSTime Investment:Part-time. Approximately 5-15 hours/week (flexible week on week, as we understand you may have other commitments) - you set your own boundaries and communicate your availability. As a result, both of you would take on only one campaign at a time.Salary:At this point, there is no salary for anyone in our team (from the CEO to the producers to the set runner, nobody draws a salary). We instead give parts of the profit away:Profit Participation:We are currently in the development of a profit share/royalty system that will award everyone who is part of the project a piece of the pie without causing any upfront taxation. Upon request for an interview, we will send you a detailed breakdown so you can make a decision on whether or not you want to continue with the application. This is fundamentally an investment contract (time invested, profit participation/royalties gained), and as a result, we are happy to support any due diligence you want to undergo ahead of joining.Thank you very much for considering the collaboration. We hope to see you on the other side and that we grow together on these exciting projectsAll the best,Your Soul Atlas Team
