Main Responsibilities:
* Actively participate in new and existing product development efforts from concepts to implementation.
* Lead a team of electronic engineers to achieve project goals.
* Drive circuit-level hardware design phases, including architecture and design, component selection, schematic entry, board bring-up, and integration of sophisticated printed circuit board and cable assemblies into systems/instruments.
* Effectively work with multi-functional teams, including software, mechanical design, and system engineering, aligning with the project schedule and budget through different phases of the product lifecycle.
* Have experience with interfacing hardware peripherals like sensors, motor drivers, etc.
* Have experience with electrical drawing packages like SolidWorks Electrical, Eplan, AutoCAD Electrical, etc.
* Evaluate and implement designs to ensure that all agency requirements (UL, IEC, FDA) are being met throughout the design process.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (master's desirable) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
* At least 5 years of experience as an Electronics Engineer designing and testing both analog and digital circuitry on sophisticated printed circuit board assemblies.
* Strong digital and analog circuit design background that includes microprocessors, analog circuitry for theoretical analysis circuit level, board level simulation, and experience with building blocks for modular systems, Labview.
* Proficient design skills and tools for crafting schematics, board layouts, and simulations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a team environment.
* Strong problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
