ABOUT THE ROLE
* Develop and maintain web applications using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask).
* Design and optimise database schemas and queries (SQL and Snowflake).
* Containerise applications with Docker and deploy using Kubernetes.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines and uphold DevOps best practices.
* Write tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
ABOUT THE PERSON
* Strong Python backend development experience.
* Proficient in React or Vue.js for front-end development.
* Skilled with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Snowflake.
* Experienced with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
* Familiar with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows.
* Self-driven with leadership skills and ability to manage projects independently.
OTHER DETAILS
* Location: Hybrid - 3 days a week on-site in Cork.
* Contract: 11.5-month duration.
* Strong salary/rate on offer due to contract nature
