Healthcare Support Role
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working within a caring environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. They should also possess relevant qualifications, such as FETEC/NFQ 5 or equivalent, and be willing to participate in training and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, including washing, toileting, dressing, and undressing. They will also need to provide attention and care when needed, while ensuring clients retain their comfort and dignity. Additionally, they will monitor clients with limited mobility or physical/Learning difficulties and make the best use of aids provided. Other responsibilities include answering nurse call systems, reporting on client wellbeing, making visitors feel welcome, and cleaning and maintaining equipment used by clients/relatives.
* Responsibilities:
* Assisting clients with daily living tasks, such as washing, toileting, dressing, and undressing.

* Reporting on client wellbeing under senior care staff supervision.
* Making visitors feel welcome and providing refreshments/assistance as required.
* Cleaning and maintaining equipment used by clients/relatives.
