Job Description:
Corporate Fundraising Executive, Fundraising, Dublin
Location: Dublin
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
The purpose of this role is to support the Corporate Partnerships Team in achieving its annual fundraising target. This role involves managing relationships with some of Focus Ireland's largest corporate partners, aiming for significant income growth from new and existing long-term partnerships.
What you will do:
1. Conduct donor research to understand current and potential donors.
2. Contact prospective donors to schedule meetings with the Corporate Partnerships Team.
3. Manage relationships with assigned donors to ensure a high level of donor experience.
4. Assist in preparing funding proposals, impact reports, meeting briefings, scripts, and personalized communications.
5. Help organize and implement in-person donor events, such as Focus Ireland's Women’s Philanthropy Circle events.
6. Maintain and update information systems and databases.
7. Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making.
8. Undertake any additional tasks delegated by your manager.
9. Participate in relevant training and development courses.
10. Maintain confidentiality of all information obtained during employment.
11. Present and behave professionally at all times.
What you will need:
* Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent work experience with transferable skills.
* Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
* Energetic and target-driven attitude.
* High initiative, flexibility, and creativity.
* Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and multitask.
* Proficiency in MS Office (including CRM-Dynamics, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
* Flexibility to work during weekends, evenings, and unsociable hours if required.
* Experience in sales is desirable but not mandatory.
