Our client, a well-established accountancy practice in Galway, is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist to join their growing team. Responsibilities Maintain accurate bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, including bank reconciliations, AP/AR, general ledger entries, VAT returns, and support with management accounts. Liaise with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and ensure smooth delivery of bookkeeping services. Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients in full compliance with Revenue requirements and payroll legislation. Prepare and submit payroll returns, handle employee payroll queries, and maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
