About Our Role
The postholder will work closely with their line manager to gain a thorough understanding of our processes and systems. After this, the postholder will work independently on their own portfolio and support the team in delivering a sustainable procurement service for us.
They will contribute to ongoing improvement efforts to help us achieve our overall objectives and realize value through best practices in purchasing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A good standard of numeracy and literacy, evidenced by either qualification (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent) or by relevant work-related activities/experience;
* NVQ Level 2 in Business, Procurement (Supply Chain), or related subjects.
* Experience working with a wide range of IT systems in a professional environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Knowledge/experience of procurement (including buying/tendering).
