Job Summary: The Food & Beverage Assistant supports the delivery of seamless, high-quality service throughout The Grace Westport Estates dining outlets.
This role contributes directly to theguestexperience by providing attentive, efficient, and professional service in alignment with the estates hospitality standards.With a focus on operational readiness, guest engagement, and consistent execution, the Food & Beverage Assistant plays a keypartinmaintainingthe estates refined atmosphere and supporting the wider front-of-house team.
KeyResponsibilities Deliver warm, attentive, and personalised service across all guest touchpoints.
Present menus, answer questions, and guide guests through offerings with confidence and clarity.
Support proactive guest engagement,anticipatingneeds and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Address guest requests promptly, escalating to supervisors whenrequired.
Assistwith table setup, service flow, and clearing in alignment with service standards.
Support the delivery of food and beverages, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and presentation consistency.
Maintain the dining areas cleanliness, ambience, and readiness throughout service periods.
Assistin restocking service stations, linens, and operational supplies.
Assistwith reservation flow, seating coordination, and communication with the front desk as needed.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to support smooth service transitions.
Follow daily checklists, SOPs, and operational requirements tomaintainconsistent service quality.
Adhere to all food hygiene, safety, and allergen protocols.
Maintain strong knowledge of standards relating to service etiquette and responsible alcohol service.
Ensure all service equipment and areas meet hygiene and cleanliness expectations.
Work closely with supervisors and managers to support service priorities.
Participate in pre-service briefings to stay informed of specials, menu changes, and key service notes.
Support colleagues as needed to uphold a cohesive, high-performing team environment.

RequiredExperience&Skills Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role preferred but not required.
