Successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of early years care and education at Little Miracles. Working closely with owner/provider, management team and educators. Candidate will ensure best practices are upheld in line with Tusla Regulations, Síolta and Aistear standards and framework.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Ensuring the children’s safety, health and wellbeing at all times, while working in partnership with parents.
* Observing and assessing each Early Years room, providing constructive feedback and support to staff.
* Assist and guide educators in implementing curriculum practices, documentation and observations.
* Supporting the creation and maintenance of enriching and engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.
* Take responsibility for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. maintain up to date knowledge of inspection standards and readiness for Tusla, Des, Pobal and all other inspectorate bodies.
* Stay current in Early Years best practice through CPD, source and recommend training opportunities for staff as required.
* Ensure all staff files, certifications and all relevant documents are current and meet regulatory standards.
Essential Requirements
* A minimum of Level 8 (BA/BSc Hons or equivalent) in Early Years Education.
* A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a managerial role within an early years service.
* Have a strong command of spoken and written English.
* Be available to work a full 5 day week (9am to 6pm).
Salary is above recommended ERO rate.
