Key Responsibilities
Provide empathy and active listening during times of distress or transition
Help clients navigate mental health challenges, grief, or social isolation
Build trusting relationships that foster emotional safety and resilience
Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming
Support with household tasks: cooking, cleaning, shopping
Collaborate with clients, families, and professionals to create individualized care plans
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and progress
Requirements
Minimum Level 7 or 8 degree in social care
CORU Registration
Must be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
