General Duties: Serving Customers at the Trade Counter Reaching sales targets Answering Sales Calls and Emails Contacting potential Customers in the area to create sales and build relationships Process incoming sales orders in time Process cash and credit card transactions Using our in-house computer software system Monitor stock levels and reorder when required Liaise with suppliers and ensure appropriate records are maintained Responsible for merchandise displays Preparing customer quotations Picking orders Providing a knowledgeable service to ensure customer demands are met Maintain orderly records of all despatch, pods and picking dockets Work closely with colleagues on the internal sales desks across all product portfolios Resolving queries with customers directly or via the sales team and come to a successful conclusion Completion of other sales and administrative tasks relating to the sale and distribution of products to the customer base Handle returns or complaints Any other ad-hoc duties Requirements: Experience in product merchandising Good communication and interpersonal skills Maintaining professional merchandising standards, including ensuring correct labelling, pricing and product placements Computer skills Friendly, helpful attitude Motivated with ability to work on own initiative Experience in Sales, both Trade and Retail an advantage Benefits: Bonus On-Site Parking Company Pension Scheme Career Progression Employee Discount Skills: Customer Service
