With long standing roots in Athlone and the local community we have a loyal customer base which has made our business a success throughout the years. We specialise in flooring as well and providing a wide range of furniture and home furnishings.Role & Responsibilities:Assisting Customers with the selection and purchase of products.Providing customers with job estimations and quotationCompleting sales and following up on sales and ensuring delivery/installation is arranged.Doing in-home consultations and measuring for customers.Assisting senior salespeople with sales administration.Assisting customers queries over the phoneImpressing customers with excellent customer service and product knowledge.Maintaining a high level of merchandising standardsBe constantly informing yourself of product knowledge of stock.Ensuring that sales and refunds are processed in accordance with policies.Maintaining shop floor and standards within the storeWhat we are looking for:Experience with direct sales and customer serviceExperience with flooring and/or job estimations and calculation, desiredExcellent interpersonal skillsEnthusiasm and willingness to learn.Competent math skills for estimating jobs for carpet and flooring salesProfessional customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as a team memberAccuracy and attention to detailOrganisation skillsKnowledge of basic computer skillsPlace of Work:Location: AthloneHours: 5 Days a week which includes SaturdayWorking hours: 9 am - 6pmContract: Full-time permanentCompetitive salary Depending on Experience + CommissionJob Type: Full-timePay: €14.50 per hourBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingExperience:Sales: 2 years (required)Language:English (required)Licence/Certification:Clean Full License (preferred)Work Location: In person
