Job Description
A Senior Staff Software Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based MN client. This role with join a highly skilled multi-disciplined R&D team developing industry leading next generation medical technology products from concept stage to manufacture .
Role of this position
1. Lead the design and development of software components in alignment with requirements and architecture define.
2. Apply and mentor others on advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts.
3. Conduct, design, and select advanced prototyping and testing.
4. Lead and guide in correction of complex product design issues
5. Conduct technology exploration and influence application in the business
6. Translate user needs to design inputs/ specifications and produce complex system level designs independently.
7. Develop a number of invention disclosures, patents or trade secrets.
8. Independently make design tradeoff decisions while designing multiple components of the system
9. Ability to generate and review the necessary documents with project teams. (requirements/design/architecture/bugs/test)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
10. Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline & 6+ years of work experience.
