We have a proven track record of providing high quality assessments and delivering on NHS contracts.Role DescriptionThis is an exciting and valuable role within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families. This is a hybrid role located in Dublin for a suitably qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist working within a Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. This is a full- and part-time opportunity with in-person, hybrid and remote vacancies available. Some aspects of the role may be undertaken remotely. Multiple roles are available to attract candidates with differing levels of experience, including senior roles. The role requires conducting comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Neurodevelopmental conditions (Autism, ADHD and learning disability) using established diagnostic tools. Assessments of mental health conditions may also be required. Assessments are undertaken on behalf of the HSE. The clinician is also responsible for writing up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, as well as providing appropriate recommendations and interventions. Additionally, the clinician may be involved in supervising and supporting junior staff members depending on experience.Salary - dependent upon experienceQualificationsA recognised University degree or diploma (NQAI Level 8 equivalent) obtained with first or second class honours in which psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subjectAND, a postgraduate professional psychological qualification recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical or Counselling Psychology OR a postgraduate professional psychology qualification validated by the Department of Health and Children in Clinical or Counselling PsychologyMust be eligible to work in the Republic of IrelandExperience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/ Specialist developmental assessments with childrenExperience working with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical settingKnowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for Autism, ADHD and learning disabilityADOS-2/ ADI-R trainedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work as part of a multidisciplinary teamExperience in report writing and record keepingAdditional qualifications in relevant areaBenefitsPensionGenerous Annual Leave allowanceFull ongoing training and clinical supervisionBirthday day of/ day in lieuCompany benefits and discountsCompany eventsOngoing training and CPDClinical Supervision integral to the role
