Our client is looking for an experienced and driven leader to oversee their warehousing and operational activities. This senior management role plays a key part in driving lean processes, ensuring efficiency across logistics and service teams, and acting as the main point of contact for the Country Manager/Managing Director within the Carlow facility managing a team of 5.
What does my day-to-day look like ?
* Lead and support the Modification Centre, Logistics, and Service teams.
* Develop and implement comprehensive training plans.
* Oversee the Carlow facility's Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.
* Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
* Assist the Country Manager in leading service teams and reporting on financial performance.
* Identify, suggest, and implement process improvements within the Carlow facility.
* Schedule and forecast projects across the Modification Centre and Service departments.
* Streamline deliveries, evaluate logistics providers, and ensure maximum value for the company.
* Provide accurate forecasts and performance reports to the Country Manager.
* Maintain and promote health and safety standards across the Carlow site.
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure balanced and efficient stock management.
Requirements for the role:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in an operational or logistics management role.
* Strong background in purchasing; experience within a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety standards and compliance
