Job Summary
Direct, motivate and guide the Operations Department to achieve peak performance with efficiency, integrity and enthusiasm.
The role reports directly to the Operations Director, who will work closely with you to drive business outcomes through leadership, strategy and collaboration.
Essential Duties
1. Recruit, interview, train and develop Functional Managers to excel in their roles.
2. Coach Functional Managers in interviewing/hiring processes to ensure a fair and effective hiring process.
3. Develop employee and team growth by identifying strengths and weaknesses, creating training programs and mentoring staff to enhance skills and performance.
4. Perform regular, timely evaluations of team members to provide constructive feedback and opportunities for improvement.
5. Communicate effectively with team members, adapting your style to meet individual needs and preferences.
Functional Management Responsibilities
* Develop strategic campus directions that align with corporate goals.
* Implement business strategies that contribute to the success of the organization.
* Monitor departmental costs trends, analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Prepare timely forecasts and compare results to historical data to inform decision-making.
Technical Management Responsibilities
* Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and metrics management to optimize operations.
* Assess data gathering methods and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
* Identify new practices and processes, implement them across the organization and monitor their effectiveness.
* Prioritize customer service, resolve issues effectively and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with 10 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years of management experience. A master's degree is preferred but not required.
