They are currently seeking a skilled Facilities & Maintenance Technician / Engineer with a strong electrical background to join their high-performing facilities management team in Dublin.This is a key position supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical infrastructure where electrical systems play a central role.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, and maintain critical building systems, with a particular focus on electrical infrastructure (LV distribution systems, UPS, generators, etc.)Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across systems including switchgear, power distribution, BMS, and backup powerSupport general maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, and other building services as neededParticipate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation with the engineering teamConduct regular inspections and ensure that all plant rooms and electrical equipment meet safety, compliance, and operational standardsTroubleshoot and respond to system faults, ensuring prompt resolution of electrical and building services issuesUse Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for task tracking and issue resolutionSupervise and coordinate subcontractors during project work, equipment upgrades, or system shutdownsContribute to energy efficiency, system reliability, and workplace safety initiativesEnsure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and industry standardsRequirementsMinimum Qualification: QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft ElectricalProven experience working in data centres, telecoms, or other critical infrastructure environmentsStrong technical understanding of:Electrical systems: LV distribution, UPS, standby generatorsSupporting systems: chillers, pumps, HVAC, and mechanical servicesStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in complex systemsClear communicator with a proactive, safety-first mindsetDesirable SkillsExperience working in regulated environments (GMP, cleanrooms, healthcare)Additional trade certifications (e.g. refrigeration, plumbing)Familiarity with industry safety standards (HSE, OSHA, etc.)Knowledge of clean utilities or lab systems is a plusWhats on OfferCompetitive salary package: 50,000 60,000Company vehicle providedCareer progression opportunities with access to ongoing training and certificationsExposure to advanced critical infrastructure and cutting-edge technical systemsSupportive team culture in a respected industry leaderIf you are an electrically qualified technician or engineer looking to develop your career in a mission-critical environment, we want to hear from you.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carLicence/Certification:EU Drivers License (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: On the road
