We are seeking an Operations Manager with a technical background to join our growing team to ensure our day-to-day operations are conducted Safely, Compliantly and efficiently both in our own facilities and across customer sites.
Ideally the candidate would have Hazardous Waste Experience, but strong candidates with a background in Chemical Engineering, Haz Chem Logistics, or related technical operations management looking for the next step in their career will be considered.
Key Responsibilities All training will be provided to the right person with the right attitude, with excellent career progression opportunities Requirements: Relevant technical qualification/or sufficient experience Appetite to take ownership Strong Health and Safety Awareness People Management Experience Strong practical and energetic approach to every task Excellent communication skill, verbal and written Strong IT Capabilities, Word, Excel, ERP and Finance packages DGSA qualification, Waste Classifrication or knowledge of the carriage of dangerous good by road would be an advantage.
Experience or knowledge in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Utilisation and implementation would be an advantage Experience with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 450001 Commercial ability with exposure to pricing and profitability The above description is a general outline of the requirements of the role.
