As a rehabilitation specialist in an acute care setting, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. Your responsibilities include assessing and planning treatment programs, collaborating with patients and staff, and attending meetings and conferences.
The ideal candidate has a recognized qualification in rehabilitation therapy, certification in acute care, and permission to work in Ireland. Experience in an acute hospital setting is desirable but not necessary. We welcome new graduates and those with a professional approach to work, flexibility in practice, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Your role will involve working closely with patients who have experienced acute injuries or illnesses, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to achieve optimal recovery. You will assess each patient's condition and develop personalized treatment plans to help them regain their strength, mobility, and independence.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be responsible for educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques. This may involve developing educational materials, leading workshops, or providing one-on-one counseling.
We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Our team is committed to providing exceptional patient care and making a positive impact in our community.
