Responsibilities
* Conduct impact analysis and support change management for system upgrades, strategy rollouts and vendor/exchange upgrades
* Support ETL/ELT pipeline development and maintenance for market and trading data ingestion.
* Work with development teams to implement and test new features in operational platforms that support our trading environment
* Taking projects through the entire cycle from requirements gathering to production release.
* Collaborate with operational support teams, and developers to gather and document business and technical requirements.
* Constantly maintaining and tuning existing processes to meet evolving performance criteria as business needs change.
* Working with a variety of business areas to continuously improve technical performance
* Proficiency in Python or another scripting language is an advantage
What We're Looking For
* BSc. in Computer science or a technical discipline or equivalent experience
* 4-5 years’ work experience in the financial sector
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
* Proficiency in Python or another scripting language is an advantage
* Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes
* Experience with tools such as Informatica/Tidal/Airflow is an advantage.
* Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence)
* The ability to prioritise tasks and plan for and meet deadlines.
* The ability to communicate effectively with a range of technical and non-technical staff across the organisation.
* Solid understanding of financial markets, and tradeable instruments. (Futures, Options, Equities etc.)
