Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and implement non‑organic opportunities on a global scale, including M&A.
Develop an in‑depth understanding of the worldwide betting and gaming sector, rivals, and market trends.
All aspects of investment appraisal – from developing the strategic rationale to unearthing novel data sources and communicating findings internally.
Manage, coordinate, and communicate intricate strategic projects from inception to conclusion, uniting cross‑functional and cross‑regional teams.
Assess the value‑creation potential of prospective deals by evaluating synergies Flutter can achieve through acquisition.
Develop intricate financial models from scratch for business cases, asset valuations, and financial impact analysis.
Perform detailed financial analyses, including valuations (DCF, comparable companies, transactions), cash flow, and credit analysis.
Prepare and deliver internal presentations for senior team members within Flutter and its divisions.
Complete transaction processes rigorously – due diligence, valuation, term‑sheet negotiation, advisor coordination, and legal documentation oversight.
Strengthen the Corporate Development team by supporting recruitment, training, and development of high‑performing collaborators.
Qualifications
ACA qualified with 5–7 years of experience, including M&A advisory, ideally from a Big 4 firm or similar.
Proven experience in negotiating and closing numerous corporate transactions.
Ambitious, self‑started, eager to dive into new challenges.
Passionate about the company and the online betting and gaming sector.
Confident communication and presentation skills (written and spoken) to influence senior collaborators.
Analytical, capable of thinking “big picture” while maintaining detail‑oriented curiosity when needed.
Proficient in structuring deals, managing intricate financial models, and communicating effectively through diverse mediums.
Ability to balance a varied workload and make quick decisions on prioritisation.
Experience in valuing companies within broad investment criteria.
Willingness to travel.
