The Client and overview of the Role
I am looking for Site Engineers and Senior Engineers for a number of my Clients in the West of Ireland.
They are involved in projects for public works, pharma, sports, commercial and residential buildings in Galway, Mayo, Longford, Donegal and Sligo.
I have placed several people with these business over the years with good feedback.
They are all able to offer continuity of work in the Connacht region plus progression opportunities over time.
Main responsibilities
Setting-Out using total station or supervising Setting-Out Engineers where required.
Carrying out setting out and surveying activities for various building trades using robotic total station and dumpy level.
Coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Services Coordinator to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information.
Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specification and drawing requirements.
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors, conducting site inspections, and providing technical expertise.
Involvement in project planning, risk management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulation.
Managing and maintaining the RFI register on site.
Managing and maintaining the submittals register on site.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management related discipline
2+ years' experience as a Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer with a Main Contractor or Residential Developer
Experience using setting out equipment - Eg.
total station, GPS and laser levels.
Knowledge of temporary works coordination.
Strong attention to detail and able to work on own initiative.

€40,000 - €78,000 (DOE)
