Purpose: This role will support the growing PLC business in Ireland and abroad, with key interactions across all areas of the business. The legal team is expanding and seeking a proactive individual with in-house experience to collaborate closely with business leaders on their legal priorities.
Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, the role involves working closely with the Leadership Team and Senior Leadership teams across the group.

Key Responsibilities:
* Managing various legal projects to completion efficiently and effectively, and liaising with internal stakeholders for input and support.
* Advising on and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and supporting the development and implementation of legal templates.
* Driving the execution of these agreements efficiently, partnering with internal stakeholders for input and support.
* Identifying inefficiencies in day-to-day operations and delivering recommendations for process improvements.
* Assisting with the execution of corporate M&A, including liaising with external advisors, providing input on transaction documents, reviewing due diligence outputs, managing legal projects, and handling ancillary workstreams.
* Advising internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal, corporate, and compliance issues, disputes, and any other legal matters arising in the day-to-day operation of the business.
* Assisting with the roll-out of a Group-wide contract management system to streamline the contracting process.
* Managing and prioritizing workload according to timelines and stakeholder requirements.
* Engaging and liaising with external counsel (managing and minimizing costs where possible).
* Undertaking other reasonably related duties (including administrative tasks).
Skills and Competencies:
* Qualified solicitor with 5+ years PQE in private practice or in-house.
* Experience negotiating commercial contracts.
