Job Overview
This position involves daily site visits to clients in Wexford.
Responsibilities:
* Daily on-site support and troubleshooting of client environments.
* Liaising with contracted support companies as necessary.
* Carrying out work to enhance client environments as directed.
* Providing technical advice on environment maintenance and enhancement.
* Documenting all issues and solutions using an in-house helpdesk application.
* Completing work at each site in the order directed and providing daily reporting.
* Maintaining the in-house IT helpdesk system.
Requirements:
* 4+ years' experience in a similar field service engineering role.
* Relevant IT qualifications.
* Full clean driving license and own transport.
Deliverables:
* Support and troubleshoot client environments efficiently.
* Provide timely communication with contracted support companies.
* Enhance client environments effectively.
* Advise on technical issues related to environment maintenance and enhancement.
* Document all issues and solutions accurately.
* Complete work at each site promptly and provide daily reports.
* Maintain the in-house IT helpdesk system properly.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Level 1 & 2 ICT support skills.
* Ability to support end-user hardware and software problems.
* Deploy, support, and troubleshoot common IT devices.
* Microsoft Infrastructure: At least 2 years' experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
* Windows 10 and 11.
* Office suite and Office 365.
* Microsoft virtualization technologies for desktops and applications.
* End-user device security knowledge.
* Network troubleshooting skills.
