IT Internal Auditor - Hybrid role. 3 days in our Dublin office and 2 days from home

The Role
Exciting opportunity to work within Internal Audit for a successful Irish plc. The Internal Audit team is the perfect place to launch your career and build your experience. The successful candidate will get exposure to a broad range of financial and operational assignments and gain experience working with all layers of management.

As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs
Work with the IT audit team to develop IT RCM’s across the Group
Test IT General Controls and document your findings in the Audit Board repository
Perform other Internal Audit duties
Keep auditees and management up to date during the audit process through effective communication
Develop and agree audit findings and guide management on remediation plans
Prepare and drive the issuance of audit reports in a timely manner and follow up on reported audit findings
Provide support on Sarbanes Oxley queries and assist the business with updating process documentation
Participate in the Internal Audit planning process
Promote the Internal Audit brand internally and encourage stakeholders to engage with Internal Audit
Contribute to the development of the ICON Internal Audit department
Ability to travel internationally approximately 10% (Flexibility is required but we work together to ensure travel plans are convenient for all concerned)
What you will need
ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA / CISA certification is advantageous
Strong IT skills with an interest in General IT control testing
Strong technical audit and accounting skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively at all levels
Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times
Ability to effectively work on multiple projects at the one time within a team environment
Flexibility to changes in the audit schedule
Ability to deliver assigned audits in line with the audit plan and audit methodology
Understanding of Internal Audit’s role within an organisation
Solid business acumen
Desirable
Experience working within a public listed company or other large organisation is highly advantageous
Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Oracle or other major ERP system experience an advantage
Pharmaceutical or CRO industry experience
