Overview Squarespace Dublin is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join and support the local IT team.
The ideal candidate will provide essential IT support for our Dublin office during their working hours.
This role is an entry level position and will focus on delivering high-quality assistance to staff with day-to-day technical issues.
You'll Get To…Provide high quality support to Squarespace staff, both in the office and remote, in areas such as Mac/OS X, AV, printers, basic networking issues, remote access, internal web applications, and mobile devices Assist staff and guests with phone, video and/or video conferencing equipment Help run and update local video conferencing solutions and other telecommunications channels used within the Dublin office during working hours Assist with onboarding new hires in the Dublin office by provisioning computers, new accounts, and building access, likely in collaboration with a full-time team member Assist with asset management (computers, monitors, other hardware, software licenses, etc.) for the Dublin office, potentially focusing on specific tasks or a subset of assets Provide basic administration and support for common business applications such as Google GSuite, Atlassian, Dropbox, Microsoft Office, and Slack.
The level of administrative access and support may be focused on local needs Troubleshoot software and hardware issues for OS X machines Responsibilities Support staff with day-to-day technical issues in a remote and in-office environment Assist with onboarding of new hires in the Dublin office Manage and track asset inventory and hardware provisioning Provide basic administration for business applications and local VPN/Vo IP solutions Troubleshoot software and hardware for OS X machines and other end‑user devices Qualifications Experience as part of an IT team is beneficial Experience within a remote team Experience with troubleshooting both software and hardware of OS X machines Familiarity with administration and support of business applications such as Google GSuite, Atlassian, Dropbox, Microsoft Office, Slack, Okta, etc.
