Global Technical Transfer Project Manager – Biopharma (Contract)Location: Dublin - HybridContract Type:ContractorFunction:Manufacturing Sciences & Technology (MS&T) / Technical OperationsStart Date:ImmediateThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experiencedGlobal Technical Transfer Project Managerto lead and deliver complexdrug substance, drug product, and packaging technology transfersacross a global biopharmaceutical network.This role will suit aseasoned technical operations project managerwith a strong track record in managing cross-functional, high-impact tech transfer programmes involving CMOs and internal manufacturing sites. You'll play a pivotal role in executing Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) and lifecycle management strategies, ensuring products are successfully transferred, validated, and approved on time.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide full project management oversight for complex global tech transfer projects across drug substance, drug product, and packaging .Manage project charters, detailed timelines, budgets, and risk registers to ensure on-time, in-scope delivery.Lead scenario planning and execution within MS&T for packaging, device, and DP-related activities.Act as a key liaison between internal Technical Product Teams (TPTs), CMOs, and cross-functional stakeholders (regulatory, quality, analytical, and supply chain).Facilitate effective collaboration and accountability across matrixed global teams .Drive governance alignment, communicate project status and escalate risks as required.Ensure project documentation and progress tracking align with established PMO standards and tools (MS Project, Tableau, PPM systems).About YouDegree-qualified in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical discipline .Minimum 4 years' project management experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments.Proven expertise in technical transfer, process improvement, and CMC project execution .Experience working with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and managing external partnerships.Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Tableau, SharePoint, or equivalent project tools .PMP certification desirable.The Next Step for you:Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Sarah Mac Mullan from Next Generation Recruitment or alternatively call on the main line on Next Generation are specialists in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Technical and Operation (permanent, contract and temporary) positions.Applications are in strict confidence.Next Generation will never share your data outside of our organisation without your prior written consent.Please read our Data Protection Policy on our website.
