We're looking for an experienced Senior Powerplant Consultant to join a leading global aviation asset management company. This is a senior, hands‑on technical role within the Fleet Management team, working across a range of commercial engine projects for both internal and third‑party clients.
If you enjoy being at the heart of complex engine management, shop visits, forecasting, and strategic planning - this is a great opportunity to take ownership and make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Acting as a virtual powerplant manager for airline and lessor clients.
- Managing multiple commercial engine projects from start to finish.
- Overseeing shop visits — from workscope compilation and inspection attendance to invoice review.
- Tracking and reporting on Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) and Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM).
- Leading cost optimisation and maintenance forecasting initiatives.
- Negotiating technical aspects of engine sales, leases, and service agreements.
- Supporting engine transitions, records audits, borescopes, and inspections.
- Providing mentorship to junior team members and supporting new business opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years' experience in powerplant-focused roles.
- Strong technical knowledge across CFM, P&W, GE, IAE, and/or RR products.
- Ideally degree-qualified, with prior airline or lessor experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Commercially astute, self‑motivated, and confident in negotiations.
- Strong communication skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
Location & Flexibility:
Ideally, you'll be based in Dublin and happy to work from the office three days a week (typically Tuesday - Thursday). Monday and Friday can be remote but for the right person, fully remote will be considered.
