Job Description
The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotels, is recruiting for a Chef de Partie – Pastry. You will work in a beautiful hotel where the highest standards are upheld, backed by excellent training and a welcoming team. This role offers the opportunity to develop pastry skills and contribute to creating memorable experiences for guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare, produce and present high‑quality pastry items including desserts, breads, cakes, petit fours and other baked goods.
Support the Executive Head Pastry Chef in the day‑to‑day running of the pastry kitchen.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation in all pastry dishes served.
Assist with menu planning and development of new pastry items.
Ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene standards and regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry area, including stock rotation and waste control.
Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs with the kitchen team.

Professional manner with courteous and effective communication with guests and colleagues.
