The role of a Process Development Engineer is pivotal in the development and implementation of manufacturing processes associated with medical devices.
This includes providing design feedback, working with suppliers, and collaborating with counterparts responsible for device development and characterization.
Key responsibilities include developing manufacturing processes, designing process fixtures and equipment, creating Work Instructions, executing process characterization and validation activities, and providing technical guidance to team members.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in medical device development and a primary or Master's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
They should also possess experience in fabrication and manufacture of catheter-based medical devices, product and process development skills, new product introduction skills, fixture and equipment design, and validation of processes and process equipment.
