Do you want to be a part of a team of financial services risk and regulatory leaders, experienced in scoping, and delivering large transformation programmes in complex matrix environments?
Our Financial Services Risk and Regulatory team is dedicated to solving complex business problems for our clients. We work with Ireland’s largest organisations across a wide range of financial services including retail banking, international banking, insurance, asset and wealth management, and payment services.
To support our strategic growth initiatives, our Financial Services Leadership team is hiring a Risk and Regulation Director with experience in identifying, scoping, and delivering large transformation programs in a regulatory compliant manner, ensuring compliance by design with applicable laws and regulations, and working as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
This is a senior leadership role for a risk and regulatory specialist interested in growing new offerings that excite clients and our people, delivering real business value.
Purpose-led work you’ll be part of
As a Financial Services Risk and Regulatory Director, you’ll work with a team of solutions-driven individuals, applying your regulatory experience and client relationship management skills to advance projects from strategy to execution.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate the comprehensive design and delivery of Regulatory change projects for our clients
2. Act as a Risk and Regulation expert and Consumer Protection SME supporting clients through business transformation and regulatory change
3. Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement the strategic direction of Regulatory engagements
4. Partner with ‘Go to Market’ teams on identifying business-led, technology-enabled customer propositions
5. Lead, prepare, and present proposals for new client work
6. Lead projects to deliver results within budgets and timescales
7. Guide teams of regulatory specialists on multiple assignments
8. Drive compliance with new risk and regulatory requirements, support remediation, and identify new opportunities
9. Cultivate the PwC Ireland brand and lead risk and regulatory communities
10. Ensure high-quality project deliverables and demonstrate experience in risk and regulatory compliance
Experiences and skills:
1. BSc/MSc qualified with 10+ years consulting experience and a background in delivering Regulatory Change projects
2. In-depth knowledge of financial services regulatory agenda, including conduct risk, governance, anti-money laundering
3. Experience working with financial services risk and control projects from consulting or regulatory backgrounds
4. Leadership experience developing high-performing teams and mentoring
5. Excellent communication skills for regulatory analysis and client engagement
6. Pre-sales experience and thought leadership development
7. Advising clients on Regulatory change implementation experience
