Work as a Kitchen Assistant
We are currently seeking reliable individuals to fill the role of Kitchen Assistants in Waterford city and county. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and contributing to the efficient operation of a busy kitchen.
Main Responsibilities:
* Clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
* Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas including storage facilities and waste disposal units
* Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
* Educate yourself on HACCP guidelines and health & safety protocols related to your duties
* Support the kitchen staff during service periods by ensuring efficient workflow and optimal output levels.
You must have prior experience working within kitchens or similar environments (ideally 6 months+). You should also possess strong knowledge regarding hygiene practices as well as ability work under pressure while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
