Education and Community Coordinator Role
This role will involve coordinating the delivery, administration, documentation of, and learnings from projects that promote education and community engagement.
The successful candidate will have excellent coordination and administration skills, with the ability to work on site and occasionally travel to schools, workshops and community groups. They will also be able to prepare research briefs for the Community Education Manager when required.
This is a 7-month fixed-term contract that requires the individual to support the delivery of existing projects in the department. It will be predominantly administrative, with occasional opportunities to develop new projects and engage with the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the delivery, administration, and documentation of projects related to education and community engagement.
* Prepare research briefs for the Community Education Manager as needed.
* Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
* Support the development and implementation of new projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
* Excellent coordination and administration skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to prepare research briefs and reports.
* Software skills in Microsoft Office.
