We are currently recruiting for General Operatives/ Machine Operatives. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic candidates who can work systematically and logically to join our team. Must be able to speak English
Responsibilites:
* Setting the machine at the beginning of the shift to ensure it can be operated to its optimum.
* Processing of abrasives materials using dedicated production machinery
* Resetting the machine as required depending on the Works Order.
* Ensuring that the correct material is being used as per the Works Order.
* Monitoring the machine throughout the shift and reporting any issues to the Supervisor.
* Producing the required quantity of required material in the allotted time.
* Ensuring that the quality of the material produced is of a high standard.
* Ensure that their workstation is kept clean and tidy.
* Compliance with any Health & Safety regulations including wearing the appropriate PPE.
Skills & Experience required:
* Knowledge of manufacturing machinery an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
* Manual handling certificate an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Ability to work under pressure
