Job description Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent organisational skills, and hands-on experience with bookkeeping software.
The individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update financial records using Intact accounting software Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions Prepare and post journal entries Monitor budgets and support monthly financial reporting Assist with payroll and employee expense tracking Support end-of-month and year-end closing procedures Liaise with external accountants or auditors when required Requirements: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles Proficiency with Intact software is essential High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Benefits: Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to contribute to a growing and values-driven organisation
