Position Summary
This short-term Research Ireland-funded project position is based in the School of Microbiology, Food Sciences Building UCC. The project requires skills in standard safe microbiological practice and aseptic technique in working with Category 2 organisms (the project involves uropathogenic E. coli), and experience with biofilm detection and analysis. A key element of the post requires travel to the UK (University of Bath) to use an in vitro biofilm model there.
