ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manufacturing Manager will play a key leadership role within a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for delivering on-time, high-quality production while driving efficiency through effective resource planning, lean methodologies, and robust manufacturing processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage all manufacturing operations, ensuring production is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Drive performance across the production floor by optimising staffing, equipment, and resources in line with business needs.
Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance and leading investigations where required.
Collaborate closely with Quality to maintain standards and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team through coaching, training, and performance management.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence.
Partner cross-functionally to resolve production challenges and ensure seamless delivery across the organisation.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in an Engineering discipline preferred, though not essential.
3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Proven experience in capacity planning across both workforce and equipment.
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate teams to deliver high-quality output, improve KPIs, and drive site profitability.
Experience operating within high-volume manufacturing environments.
