Procurement Professional - Buyer Planner
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to serve as our Buyer Planner. This role is critical in implementing procurement strategies, policies, and procedures that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and process purchase requisitions and SAP purchase orders to ensure timely completion.
* Implement effective procurement strategies to minimize backlog and expedite backlog recovery.
* Develop and maintain accurate purchase orders, databases, and records.
* Collaborate with logistics teams and internal stakeholders to resolve import/export customs issues.
* Track and expedite incoming shipments, resolving receiving issues promptly.
* Coordinate with warehouses to request serial number details and arrange for shipment to suppliers.
* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including key internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Achieve target fill rates, minimize backlogs, and expedite backlog recovery.
* Manage forecast accuracy, review safety stock levels, and cautionary parts.
* Oversee inventory management for multiple warehouses.
* Execute stock balancing among warehouses.
* Maintain data integrity and optimize planning processes.
* Recommend obsolete and excess inventory for disposition.
* Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives in the region.
* Determine pack plans and production orders.
* Collaborate with Global Materials and Engineering on material changes.
* Coordinate issue resolutions and application enhancement requests between business and warehouse teams.
Requirements:
* Proficiency in supply chain management and logistics.
* Experience in procurement and SAP.
* Strong skills in buying and planning.
* Competence in testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
* A relevant degree in a related field.
