Warehouse Team Lead – HID

Location: Shannon, Ireland

We are seeking a Warehouse Team Lead responsible for day-to-day receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and fulfilling orders, packing and shipping domestic and international orders, and ensuring operational KPIs are achieved. You will be the main point of contact for receiving and shipping, handling escalations, back log management, and shipping execution to metrics.

As our Warehouse Team Lead, you’ll support HID’s success by:

* Must comply with SOPs and work instructions related to job function.
* Be accountable for performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area KPIs (Accuracy, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
* Main point of contact for shipping inquiries for internal customers.
* Collaborate with peers and internal customers.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve performance.
* Log and escalate potential issues to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and operational inefficiencies.
* Participate in root cause, corrective/preventive action activities as required.
* Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record inventory locations.
* Locate materials by pulling and verifying correct parts, quantities, and serial numbers requested by customers.
* Load and unload delivery trucks; ensure incoming deliveries match purchase orders.
* Assist in reviewing pick sheets and pulling the right products for each order.
* Move freight and stock to and from loading docks, vehicles, storage areas, and production areas using manual handling or equipment such as forklifts.
* Ensure high accuracy in Oracle and shipping software transactions.
* Plan layouts of stockroom and storage areas considering safety, turnover, and organization.
* Advise employees on safe equipment use and warehouse safety practices.
* Advise on care and preservation of items received and stored; methods and use of equipment for handling, storing, counting, maintaining, and issuing stock.
* Review records for accuracy and compliance with procedures; assess stock levels.
* Organize and schedule cycle counts and periodic inventories.
* Trace history of items to determine discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
* Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow.
* Assign duties and review work for accuracy and conformance to policies.
* Study and standardize procedures to improve safety and efficiency for subordinates.
* Enter data and generate reports based on entries by subordinates.


Your Experience And Background Include

* Minimum 3 years of international and complex shipping experience.
* Minimum 3 years of warehouse and picking operations experience.
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically different shifts.
* Ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment.
* Adaptable to constant change as a factor for success.
* Familiarity with trade compliance policies for international shipments.
