EMEA Accountant - Compensation & Benefits
?? Dublin City Centre (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
?? 11-month contract | Start ASAP | €90,000 - €100,000 per year
We're working with a global, highly recognisable technology organisation that operates at serious scale across EMEA.
They're looking to bring in a qualified accountant to support compensation and benefits accounting across multiple international entities.
This is a hands-on contract role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, well-structured environment with strong cross-functional exposure.
Responsibilities
Supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities
Preparing and reviewing journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Owning compensation and benefits accounting across multiple EMEA entities
Investigating open balances and resolving issues with key stakeholders
Partnering closely with payroll, tax and statutory accounting teams
Supporting audit queries and maintaining strong documentation and controls
Contributing to process improvements and close efficiencies
Qualifications
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with 1-2+ years' post-qualification experience
Strong month-end close experience in a corporate or practice-trained environment
Solid understanding of US GAAP and core accounting processes
Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort working with large data sets
Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities
Experience in compensation, payroll or benefits accounting is a strong advantage (but not essential)
