Business Analyst - PaymentsLocation: Dublin/Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)Day Rate: €400-500 p/dDuration: 6 months rollingAlldus are partnering with a leading consultancy and is seeking two experienced Payments Business Analysts (one Senior and one mid-level) to support key transformation initiatives within the European payments landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact programmes focused on modern payments, fraud prevention, and regulatory change.ResponsibilitiesLead detailed business and technical analysis across payments, fraud prevention, and open finance domains.Translate regulatory requirements (including PSD2 and Open Banking) into clear epics, user stories, and functional specifications.Define and document business, data, and control requirements, ensuring full traceability and audit readiness.Partner with architecture, security, and engineering teams to design end-to-end customer journeys and process flows.Support delivery teams through development and testing phases, ensuring solutions meet design, performance, and compliance goals.Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses on existing systems and processes.Ensure smooth transition into business-as-usual (BAU), with appropriate controls, monitoring, and documentation in place.Act as a bridge between business and technology stakeholders, driving clarity and alignment across teams.Stay ahead of industry developments in payments, fraud trends, and European regulatory changes.SkillsetProven experience as a Business Analyst in payments or financial services.Strong knowledge of European payments frameworks and regulations.Hands‑on experience with PSD2 / Open Banking initiatives.Background in payments processing, fraud prevention and compliance environments.Experience working in complex, cross‑functional delivery teams.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.If you are based in Ireland (with no sponsorship requirements) and have relevant Business Analyst Payments experience, please share an updated CV and we can discuss further.
