Excel Recruitment is delighted to partner with a large, established retail group to recruit an experienced Baker for their Store in Cork.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for baking to join a leading retail brand, working in a professional and dynamic environment.
Pay rate of: €15ph – €17ph
Key Responsibilities of this Baker :
1. Prepare and bake a wide range of high-quality breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods from scratch, ensuring all products meet the company's exacting standards.
2. Manage daily production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining product consistency and freshness.
3. Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation, following all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
4. Monitor inventory levels, check deliveries, and ensure all ingredients and supplies are well-stocked.
5. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth operations and achieve production targets.
Requirements of this Scratch Baker:
6. Demonstrable experience in scratch baking, with the ability to produce a variety of baked goods to a high standard.
7. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
8. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
9. A keen eye for detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
10. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
11. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
