We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Buyer to join our team at Sarsfield Street in Limerick City.
The ideal candidate: 3+ years retail, purchasing and pharmacy experience essential.
EPOS experience, Microsoft Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize own workload Strong communicator with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business Ability to understand and utilize financial data and KPIs Sales & Marketing experience is desirable OTC Brand sales or management experience is desirable Main role responsibilities include but not limited to: EPOS product file maintenance including product set up, suppliers, cost price, selling price and margin Supplier Negotiation to develop brands, add newness and manage declining brands Managing the purchase orders from initial order to stock delivery, across the group Review of stock levels on a weekly basis to formulate orders for suppliers or to arrange transfers between branches, as appropriate Management of stockholding, including overstock, out of stock and seasonal variations, with consideration given to minimization of working capital investment, individual store needs and non- moving stock across the group Source and coordinate special offers and stock for monthly promotional activity Work closely with store operations to ensure the following of procedures in store to maximize the accuracy of stock, sales and margin reports Generation and issuing of reports to management, including; sales reports, margin reports, month end reports, ad-hoc reports, stock holding reports Agree and review brand sales targets by store Effectively communicate to store managers and staff members Looking for efficiencies into existing systems and processes Support the directors, financial controller and operations manager in the management of the business.
