Health and Safety Expert
Join our Health and Safety team as a highly experienced professional.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular site audits to identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain accurate records of site folders and statutory documents.
* Develop and deliver health and safety training programs, including manual handling, induction, and toolbox talks.
* Identify ongoing training needs for personnel and contractors.
* Implement and manage the company's H&S policies and procedures.
* Assist in developing risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and health and safety strategies.
* Prepare and maintain accident/incident reports and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
* Build strong relationships with contractors, site managers, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
* Hold a full clean driving license.
* Proven experience in Civils, Drainage, or Utilities (Water & Electricity).
* Expertise in conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
* Strong ability to manage risk and implement control measures.
* A degree in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant field.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
